- Chemical Avoidance: Keep your jewellery away from chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, makeup, nail polish remover, body oils, sun tan lotion, and deodorant.
- Optimal Storage: Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, avoiding rooms with excessive moisture. To prevent rubbing, scratching, or tangling, store each piece individually, preferably in your Orée pouch.
- Sunlight Protection: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause gemstones to fade and lose their colour. Avoid keeping your jewellery in direct sunlight to preserve its vibrancy.
- Regular Cleaning: In addition to these precautions, regular cleaning is key to extending the lifespan of your gold-plated jewellery. We recommend using a soft cloth or cotton pad for cleaning; avoid harsh chemicals or cleaners not specifically designed for gold-plated jewellery.
